Behind the Brushes
CRISTINA SC
I’ve always been fascinated by art in all its forms: fashion, colour, music and, above all, the possibility of expressing ourselves through them.
My story with makeup began at a very young age. As a child, I looked forward to Carnival, when my mother would bring out face paints and makeup books. I also grew up surrounded by glitter, colour and costumes through rhythmic gymnastics, and I would even insist that my English teachers celebrate Halloween with us, back when it wasn’t nearly as present in our culture as it is today.
During my teenage years, makeup became a form of self-expression as I explored different styles and developed my own personality. One way or another, it was always part of my life.
Although I started out self-taught, during the pandemic I decided to explore that creative side of myself more seriously and pursue professional training. Little by little, I began sharing my work, taking part in new projects and growing thanks to every person who chose to place their trust in me.
Today, I still love the artistic and creative side of makeup, but there’s something I’m especially passionate about: seeing the person sitting in front of my brushes look in the mirror, recognise herself and feel completely like herself — with an extra boost of confidence and self-assurance.

Makeup should reveal you, not cover you.
